Hallå pals!
Jonas here with another issue of Indie Notebook to get some ideas out of my noggin, and to inspire you to do the same.
This week I’ve been trying to catch up on freelance and stuff since I fell a little behind on things last week when I was sick. But I’m all good again!
Next week I’ll be going on a vacation to Switzerland with my partner. We will stay in Wilderswil for a couple of days, hike around and see some nice views. So don’t expect a new Indie Notebook issue next week.
Now on to this week’s mini notes…
Windows XP Meadow Fan Art

I’ve always had a soft spot for the old default wallpaper on Windows XP. I used to have it as the background on my old phone and sometimes I still use it on my computer. It’s just so simple and dreamy. It’s a bit lame which I think adds a lot of charm to it?
It looks like the perfect place or a picnic but also kinda like a place where I wouldn’t mind having my ashes scattered.
If I were to make a small joke of a game called “Windows XP Meadow Simulator”, I feel like that could pick up a bit of steam. No idea what you would actually do in it though. Just walk around?

🎤 Space Deer Q&A Special!
I’ve always been a fan of “SBS” in One Piece. It’s a small Q&A section where Oda answers reader questions, mostly in a goofy way, often with drawings made to help answer the question. I wanna do the same thing so I’m collecting questions to do my own version of that for Space Deer!
So hit me with any Space Deer related question, if you have any!
(if I don’t end up answering your question in the first installment I will save it for a future one)
📝 Blog post - Making is easier than having good ideas
I’ve got about 8 essays that I’ve only published here on Indie Notebook. I’m gonna post them over on my more permanent blog one by one. Here’s one of them.

Thank you for reading Indie Notebook! The best way to support me right now is by sharing this newsletter with a friend.
Take care and have a creative week.
Enjoy your vacation!
I imagine Switzerland to be very beautiful but I've never been.
Also, I could definitely easily spend an afternoon in that Windows XP meadow.
