Unfortunately I cannot leave a rating on the game, but I did enjoy it. From how you described it, I had expected myself to be more in the background and less of a main character; like how pets in these games are invulnerable, and the enemies would target the main wizard.
I like how you threw it together. The music and graphics were fun; those skeletons are cute. The art style feels very like your own. It did posess the addiciting qualities of the genre.
If you keep working on it, you may want to hide the mouse cursor ingame when not picking a upgrade.

I've actually been approaching my current MMO game with a game jam level of crunch for the past few months. If you Indiana, or anyone reading this have time and would like to help playtest before the upcoming pre-alpha release. that would be helpful. My discord is 'vitalash' ;) https://store.steampowered.com/app/3147260/World_of_Squares/
I had no idea there was restriction like that for rating! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
But thanks for attempting to rate it!
Maybe I need to work a bit on how I describe the game, if I take it any further. Glad you liked the game! Good point about hiding the mouse cursor, that's an easy fix.
It sounds like you are really in the zone with this project. You're getting really close to release now, if the date on the Steam page is still accurate. How are you holding up?
I miiight have time to try it but more so if you have a Mac build.
:) it was a good memory trying your game yesterday. The work you guys did on the graphics and music and models left an impression.
In the past week i've been working about 7-8 hour days, in addition to my regular studying and hobbies (on Day 315 of studying https://handmadehero.org/!). I don't take breaks on weekends because it's easy to keep momentum; so I guess that's 56 hours this week; I consider this taking it easy.
I did a typing test the other day, and I got 160wpm on Monkeytype!!! I guess that's just because I've been programming so vigorously.
It's super awesome how you are slinging these little games out.
Unfortunately I can't rate but I left a comment.
Thank you for leaving a comment! It brightens up that page :- )
It's fun to "sling 'em out" hehe

Unfortunately no mac build; I don't know if it will be worth the time because they are 1.37% of gamers on Steam https://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey/Steam-Hardware-Software-Survey-Welcome-to-Steam

You're hard working! Hope it works out with this game!
Looks like you've got a lot of items implemented. Love the Snufkin theme ahah :'- )
This is amazing!
Thank you Laura!
